MSPS: Handset Set to Speaker Mode When Answering Call (194777)

When you answer a call using the Microsoft Cordless Phone System handset,
you can hear the caller's voice, but the caller may not be able to hear your voice.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you press the PHONE button to answer the call
when the handset is in the charging cradle or while you remove the handset
from the charging cradle. When you do this, you switch the Cordless Phone System to speaker mode.
RESOLUTION
To prevent this issue from occurring, make sure you remove the handset
from the charging cradle before you press the PHONE button to answer the
call.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft Cordless
Phone System version 1.0.
MORE INFORMATION
When the Cordless Phone System is operating in speaker mode, you can
hear the caller, but the caller cannot hear your voice.
NOTE: If you press the PHONE button when the handset is set to speaker mode, you may disconnect the call.
