After saving a document in Text Only or Text Only With Line Breaks
format, all line feeds and line breaks are converted to paragraph
marks. These characters include newline characters (created by
pressing SHIFT+RETURN on the main keyboard), page breaks, and section
breaks.
MORE INFORMATION
In addition to converting all line breaks to paragraph marks, the Text
Only With Line Breaks file format inserts a paragraph mark at the end
of each line.
