AcerNote Light 35X Notebook May Display Status Code 10 (194458)

If you install Windows 98 on an Acer AcerNote Light 35X notebook computer,
Device Manager may display an exclamation point in a yellow circle next to
the PC Controller Chip (PCIC) device, with a status of "Error Code 10" in
the PCIC device's properties.
CAUSE
This issue can occur if the CardBus feature is disabled in the computer's
CMOS settings.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, either enable the CardBus feature in your
computer's CMOS settings, or contact the computer manufacturer to
inquire about obtaining an update to address this issue.
