HP99: Not All Text Is Displayed When You View E-Mail Project (194363)

SYMPTOMS

When you add multiple lines of text to the Congrats/Good Luck Hallmark Greetings e-mail project, not all of the text may be displayed when you preview the project or send it in e-mail.

This behavior may also occur in other projects.

CAUSE

This issue can occur if the length of time set for a motion effect applied to a page in your project does not allow enough time for the complete text to be displayed.

Pages and objects can have motion effects applied to them. The time applied to a page's motion effect is the time allotted to play back the page in your project. If the time allotted to the page's effect is not sufficient to display all of the elements on your page, your text may not be displayed in its entirety before the playback process ends.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, use either of the following methods:

Method 1

Configure Home Publishing to determine when all page effects are completed. To do this, follow these steps:

Open the page in your project that exhibits the issue.
In the Main Options box, click Change Something.
Click Background Effects And Sounds.
Under Set The Page Duration To, click "Automatically adjust to timing of all objects on this page," and then click OK.

Method 2

Manually assign a length of time to play back the page. To do this, follow these steps:

Open the page in your project that exhibits the issue.
In the Main Options box, click Change Something.
Click Background Effects And Sounds.
Under Set The Page Duration To, click Set To This Many Seconds.
In the box next to the Set To This Many Seconds option, type the number of seconds needed to play back the page, and then click OK.
