SYMPTOMS
When you host the WebBrowser control, all navigation can occur in the hosting application. The following Microsoft Knowledge Base article describes this functionality:
185538 HOWTO: Cause Navigation to Occur in Same WebBrowserWindow
However, when the
NewWindow event is fired in response to the scripted
window.open method that causes navigation to occur in an Internet Explorer window, a 60-second delay occurs before navigation begins. In addition, in Internet Explorer 4.0
x, an "Unspecified Error" occurs.
