MSPS: Cannot Choose Mailbox After Private Greeting (194067)

When a caller attempts to leave a message for you in Microsoft Call
Manager, they may be unable to choose a mailbox in which to leave the
message even if you have configured multiple mailboxes.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you stop recording your private greeting
too quickly after you finish speaking.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, record your private greeting, and then continue
to record for a few seconds after you finish speaking. To do this, follow
these steps:
- Click Start, point to Programs, and then click Microsoft Call Manager.
- Click Address Book.
- Right-click the caller for whom you want to record a greeting.
- Click Private Greeting.
- Click Record, and then speak into the microphone.
- When you finish speaking, continue to record for about five seconds,
and then click Stop.
- Click OK.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft Cordless
Phone System, version 1.0.
