XL98: Menus Not Displayed the First Time You Access Them (194045)

SYMPTOMS

When you move your mouse pointer over the menu bar in Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition, the menus may not be displayed. For example, if you click the File menu and then move your mouse pointer to the right, the Edit menu is not displayed.

CAUSE

This problem may occur the first time that you access the menu bar in Excel.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, click the menu that you want to display.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition.
