MacOFF: Some Message Dialog Boxes Do Not Contain Any Buttons (194043)

This article was previously published under Q194043 SYMPTOMS Some message dialog boxes that are displayed in the
products listed at the beginning of this article do not contain any buttons.
For example, the dialog box that asks you whether to save changes when you
close a document does not contain any buttons. CAUSE This problem occurs if you are running the Kensington
MouseWorks Control Panel, version 5.04 or 5.50.
RESOLUTION Kensington Technology Group has released an update that
fixes this problem. To obtain the update, browse to the following Kensington

information. WORKAROUND To work around this problem, follow these steps:
- Point to Control Panels on the Apple menu, and then click Extensions Manager.
- Click to clear the Kensington MouseWorks check box.
- Click to clear the Kensington Startup check box.
- To restart your computer, click Restart.
