XL98: Euro Symbol Not Available in Currency Symbol List (194040)

SYMPTOMS

The Euro currency symbol is not available in the Currency Symbol list (on the Number tab of the Format Cells dialog box).

WORKAROUND

To insert the Euro symbol into your worksheet, press OPTION+SHIFT+2.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition.
