SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to view InterActivities or animations in Microsoft Encarta Encyclopedia 99, black lines may appear on the screen during transitions.

CAUSE

This issue can occur if one of the following video cards is installed in your computer:

  • ATI Mach64 with the Mach64GX RevD chip (also known as ATI Graphics Pro Turbo PCI)
  • ATI Rage Pro Turbo

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, download and install the latest display driver available for your video card.

To obtain the latest display driver for your video card, contact your computer manufacturer or ATI Technologies, Inc.
