SUMMARY

When you start Microsoft Works Calendar for the first time, you may receive the following message:
Works Calendar is not currently your default calendar. Would you like to make it your default Calendar?
This dialog box also contains an "Always perform this check when starting Works Calendar" check box that is selected by default. If you leave the check box selected and then click No, you are prompted to set Works Calendar as your default calendar the next time you start the program. If you click to clear the "Always perform this check when starting Works Calendar" check box and then click No, you are no longer prompted to set Works Calendar as the default calendar when you start the program.

MORE INFORMATION

If you click to clear the "Always perform this check when starting Works Calendar" check box and then click No, the only way to set Works Calendar as your default calendar is to remove and reinstall Works Calendar. After you reinstall Works Calendar, you are prompted again to set the default calendar.

To remove and reinstall Works Calendar, follow these steps:

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  3. In the list of installed programs, click Microsoft Works Calendar 1.0, and then click Add/Remove.
  4. Click Remove All, and then follow the instructions on the screen to finish removing the program.
  5. Reinstall Works Calendar.
