SYMPTOMS

After you synchronize your Handheld PC (H/PC) with your desktop computer, there may be a one hour difference between appointments on your H/PC and the same appointments on your desktop computer.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you set your H/PC to a time zone that supports Daylight Savings Time, and the "Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes" check box is cleared in the Date/Time Properties dialog box on your desktop computer.

MORE INFORMATION

If you choose a time zone that automatically adjusts for Daylight Savings Time on your H/PC, there is no way to prevent the time from being automatically adjusted. If your desktop computer is not set to automatically adjust for Daylight Savings Time, there is a one hour difference between appointments on your H/PC and the same appointments on your desktop computer after you synchronize.
