PRJ: Copied Picture Appears Larger or Smaller Than Expected (193314)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Project 2000
- Microsoft Project 98 for Windows
This article was previously published under Q193314 SYMPTOMS
When you paste a picture that was copied in Microsoft Project, the
picture may be scaled larger or smaller than expected.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs when you do the following in Microsoft Project:
- You use the Copy Picture button.
- Render Image For Screen is selected in the Copy
Picture dialog box.
- The Adjust To value (under Scaling) is set to
something other than 100 percent.
NOTE: To display the Adjust To value, click Page Setup on the File menu, click the Page tab, and look under Scaling.
When copying the image, Microsoft Project uses the Adjust To value to scale the size of the image.
WORKAROUND
To work around this behavior, change the print scaling to 100 percent. To
do this, follow these steps:
- On the File menu, click Page Setup.
- Click the Page tab.
- Under Scaling, type 100% in the
Adjust To box. Click OK.
NOTE: If you want, you can use other values to adjust the scale of the copied picture.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
