Problems Opening or Saving a Policy File That Contains a Group (192938)

When you attempt to add a group to a policy file using System Policy
Editor (Poledit.exe), you may experience either of the following symptoms:
CAUSE
This issue can occur if the group name contains more than 39 characters.
RESOLUTION
To prevent this issue from occurring, use 39 characters or less when
naming groups.
MORE INFORMATION
This problem occurs most often on Novell NetWare 4.x networks using
NetWare Directory Services (NDS). When NDS is in use, NDS group names must
be used instead of bindery-based group names.
