If the configuration of the monitors changes when the Application
Performance Explorer (APE) runs on a computer with a multiple display
configuration, Application Performance Explorer no longer appears when you
run it.
CAUSE
The Application Performance Explorer does not support multiple displays.
While it can be used in this configuration, the Application Performance
Explorer does not detect the reconfiguration of the monitor setup and it
starts up in its original location on the desktop, which is no longer
visible in the new configuration.
RESOLUTION- Start the Application Performance Explorer.
- Right-click the program on the taskbar, and click Maximize.
- Right-click a blank area of the taskbar, and click Cascade Windows.
- Resize the program's window as appropriate.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed
at the beginning of this article.
MORE INFORMATION
This can also happen if you disable multiple display support. Some programs
