SMS: Remote Control May Stop Responding When Opening Applications (192658)

When Microsoft Office applications such as Microsoft Word or Microsoft
Excel or others such as PaintBrush are started through Remote Control, a
Systems Management Server client running on a NEC PC98 platform may stop
responding suddenly. The client computer must then be restarted.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Systems
Management Server version 1.2. This problem has been corrected in the
latest U.S. service pack for Microsoft Systems Management Server version
1.2. For information on obtaining the service pack, query on the following
