Hot Swappable Drive Does Not Come Online on Alpha (192527)

SYMPTOMS

When you replace a hard drive on an Alpha system and have a hot swappable drive installed, the hot swappable drive will not come online without disabling Clusdisk.sys.

NOTE: This works correctly on x86 platforms.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 4.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
