MORE INFORMATION
You have multiple computers that, in essence, create duplicate items in
their own Primary Offline Calendar and then propagate the duplicate items
to the Microsoft Exchange Server mailbox.
A similar occurrence exists with appointments that are in a conflicted
state and must be resolved by the user. The reminders display on more than
one computer, and when dismissed or postponed, cause two instances of the
same appointment, each with their own reminder data. This requires manual
reconciliation.
By clearing the options on the less-used of your computers, you eliminate
the processing of items or reminders firing, thereby preventing these
problems from occurring.
