Money 99 offers connections to many financial institutions. Direct Online Financial Services and Active Statement downloads through Web Financial Services offer statement matching in Money. This article discusses how to learn more about becoming a partner financial institution with Microsoft Money.

MORE INFORMATION

Money 99 can import data from a financial institution' s Web site in any of the following three formats:
  • Open Financial Exchange (OFX)
  • Open Financial Connectivity (OFC)
  • Quicken Interchange Format (QIF)
However, only OFC and OFX data is imported directly into Money and is matched with transactions currently in your account register. Downloads of an OFC or OFX file from a financial institution's Web site into Money are referred to as Active Statements.

To learn more about how to implement Active Statements, refer to the following Microsoft Web site: For information about the differences between Direct and Web Financial Services, refer to the "Find out the difference between Web and Direct Financial Services" Help topic in the Money 99 online Help, and then view the related video.

For information about potential drawbacks of the QIF data format, see the "Find out the issues related to QIF import files" Help topic in the Money 99 online Help.
