The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft BackOffice Small Business Server 4.0a
  • Microsoft BackOffice Small Business Server 4.0

This article was previously published under Q192159

SYMPTOMS

If e-mail notification is enabled in the Dutch version of Small Business Server, the confirmation e-mail for a successful fax transmission contains contradictory information. For example the Subject line of the confirmation states:

Fax met succes verzonden
(Fax sent successfully)

and the Message body of the confirmation states:

Microsoft Fax Server kon de bijgevoegde fax niet verzenden.
(Microsoft Fax Server could not send the attached fax.)

The Message body of the confirmation is incorrect.

CAUSE

The text in the message body was not translated correctly when the product was localized for Dutch. This problem only affects the Dutch version of the product.

A supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems experiencing this specific problem.
