Using the Patch

If you want to work with dates in the year 2000 or later and have not installed the Works for Windows Year 2000 Patch, you must type a four-digit year value in cells. For example, if you want to type the date September 25, 2000, you need to type "9/25/2000."

The Works for Windows Year 2000 Patch simplifies this procedure. After you install the patch, you can enter the same date by typing "9/25/00."

Note There is no Year 2000 update available for Works for Windows versions 2.x and 3.x.
