When you use Internet Explorer version 4.01 to connect to a Web server, a
random character may appear at the bottom of the Web page.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if either or both of the following conditions
exist:
- The Web server sent Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) packets with an
incorrect Content-Length.
- The Web server sent HTTP packets with no content-length field in them.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain and install Internet Explorer 4.01
