To select a user name and password for use with an IRC server, use the following steps:

  1. Start Chat version 2.5, and then click Options on the View menu.
  2. Click the Servers tab, click an appropriate network in the Network box, and then click an appropriate server in the Servers box.
  3. Click IRC Username/Password, enter your user name and password information, click the Remember Password check box, and then click OK.
