SUMMARY

Microsoft Commercial Internet System (MCIS) 1.0 was designed for use with Internet Information Server (IIS) version 3.0 and will not function properly if IIS 4.0 (Windows NT Option Pack) is installed. The Windows NT Option Pack (NTOP) updates several components that were not available for testing when MCIS 1.0 and subsequent service packs were released. Therefore, NTOP is not a supported platform for MCIS 1.0.

MORE INFORMATION

MCIS 2.0 was designed specifically to work with NTOP and Site Server 3.0. If NTOP functionality is required, your data center must be upgraded to MCIS version 2.0.
