XID Type for PU Passthrough May Cause Failed Connection (191699)

SYMPTOMS

After applying SNA Server 4.0 Service Pack 1, the XID Type radio buttons are disabled when PU Passthrough is selected for the remote end of an SNA Server connection. This can cause PU type mismatches to occur and result in failed connections.

RESOLUTION

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in SNA Server version 4.0 SP1. This problem was corrected in the latest SNA Server version 4.0 U.S. Service Pack. For information on obtaining this Service Pack, query on the following word in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without the spaces):
