FP98: WebSite 1.1 Not Detected by FrontPage AutoSetup (191650)

SYMPTOMS
When you insert the Microsoft FrontPage 98 compact disc in the CD-ROM
drive on a computer running O'Reilley & Associate's WebSite server, you
may receive the following message:
Setup has detected that you do not have a Personal Web Server
installed. Installation of the Microsoft Personal Web Server
before installing Microsoft FrontPage 98 is recommended. Install
the Microsoft Personal Web Server now?
CAUSE
The Setup program does not detect the presence of the WebSite server
software.
RESOLUTION
When you receive the message described in the Symptoms section of this
article, click No. FrontPage Setup will detect the presence of the WebSite
server and install the FrontPage Server Extensions.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article.
