To play Urban Assault, you need:

Required

  • A Multimedia PC with minimum Pentium 133-MHz or equivalent processor.
  • Microsoft Windows 95 or Microsoft Windows 98 operating system.
  • 16 megabytes (MB) of random access memory (RAM).
  • 100 MB of available uncompressed hard disk space.
  • A quad-speed or faster CD-ROM drive.
  • A local bus SVGA video card with a minimum of 1 MB of VRAM.
  • A Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device.
  • A Windows-compatible sound card with speakers or headphones.

Optional

  • A 3-D graphics accelerator card compatible with the Microsoft Direct3D API for best graphic quality.

    NOTE: Some 3-D accelerator cards may not be fully compatible with the 3-D acceleration features of Urban Assault.
  • An Internet service provider (ISP) and access to the Internet for Internet play on the Microsoft Zone.com.

  • A 28,800 bits per second (bps) or faster modem for head-to-head play.
  • A joystick controller (Urban Assault supports force feedback input devices compatible with the Microsoft DirectInput API).
