PRJ98: Milestone Tasks Missing in Calendar View (191404)

WORKAROUND

Although you can not display milestone bars or lines in the Calendar view for milestone tasks scheduled at midnight, you can format the bar style, line color, and text color so that the text information appears in the Calendar view.

By default, milestone tasks are formatted as a solid black bar with white text. Since the background color of the Calendar view is white, one way to work around the problem is to format the bar as a line instead, and change the text from white to black. To do this, follow these steps:

1. On the Format menu, click Text Styles.
2. In the Item To Change list, click Milestone Tasks.
3. Change the Color from White to Black. Click OK.
4. On the Format menu, click Bar Styles.
5. In the name column, click Milestone.
6. In the appearance column, click Line. Click OK.

NOTE: In step 6, you can change the bar color to white so that milestones that do not start at 12:00 A.M. display identically to tasks that do start at 12:00 A.M.
