After you upgrade to Windows 98, you may experience one or both of the
following symptoms:
- Two PC Card (PCMCIA) devices are detected for every one inserted into
your computer.
- An additional Texas Instruments Peripheral Component Interconnect
(PCI) 1130 CardBus controller is displayed in Device Manager.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you are using a Dell Xpi CD Latitude laptop
computer with Phoenix Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) version A04.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, obtain the A10 BIOS revision from Dell Computer
Corporation's Web site or Dell Technical Support.
