PRJ98: Resource Report Formatting Does Not Display Correctly (191230)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Project 98, when you print or print preview a report, formatted text such as underline, bold, or italic may not appear correctly.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if the project was originally created and the report was customized in Microsoft Project 4.0.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, open the project in Microsoft Project 98 and reapply the formatting that you want. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. On the View menu, click Reports.
  2. Click Custom, and then click Select.
  3. Click to select the report you want to print, and then click Edit.
  4. Click Text.
  5. Reapply the formatting that you want.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
