Under certain conditions, when you try to start Microsoft Access, you may receive the following error message:
Microsoft Access can't start because there is no license for it on this machine.
The AcLicn97.exe file contains a tool that corrects this problem on a computer that is running Microsoft Windows 98. After this problem is corrected, you can
run Microsoft Access 97 successfully.

IMPORTANT: AcLicn97.exe is intended only for computers running Windows 98. It is not intended for computers running Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft
Windows NT 4.0, or Microsoft Windows 2000. Additionally, in order for this tool to work properly, you must have the full version of Microsoft Office 97
Professional or Microsoft Access 97 installed on your computer.
