SYMPTOMS

When you print the monthly report in one of the programs listed at the beginning of this article, the right edge of the report may be cut off or truncated.

CAUSE

This behavior may occur if you run Microsoft Money full screen at a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 or higher with Small Fonts.

The report that Money generates at this screen resolution and font size is too large to print using a portrait orientation.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, switch Money to a window, and regenerate the monthly report before you print it.

To do this, use the appropriate method for your version of Money.

Money 2000 and Later

  1. Restore down the Money window.

Click the double-square icon in the upper right hand corner of your screen.
  2. On the navigation bar, click Reports, click Reports Gallery (In Money 2000, click Reports), and then double-click any report that is not selected.
  3. On the navigation bar, click Reports and Reports Gallery again (in Money 2000, click Reports).
  4. Click Monthly Reports in the left pane.
  5. Click the monthly report that you want to print, and then click Go to Report/Chart.

Money creates the report by using the new screen resolution.
  6. On the File menu, click Print, and then click OK.
  7. Maximize the Money window.

Money 98 and Money 99

  1. Restore the Money window.
  2. On the navigation bar, click Reports & Charts, and then click any report that is not selected.
  3. On the navigation bar, click Reports & Charts again, and then click Monthly Reports.
  4. Click the monthly report you want to print. Money creates the report using the new screen resolution.
  5. On the File menu, click Print, and then click OK.
  6. Maximize the Money window.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
