WD98: Pictures Visible Even When Picture Placeholders Selected (190875)

After you select Picture Placeholders, pictures in a Word document continue
to appear.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, use either of the following methods.
Method 1: Reinsert the Picture
To reinsert the picture, follow these steps:
- On the Insert menu, click Picture, and then click From File.
- Select the picture you want to insert, clear the "Float over text" check
box, and then click Insert.
Method 2: Convert the Picture to an Inline Format
To convert the picture to an inline format, follow these steps:
- Select the picture.
- Hold down CONTROL and click the picture, and then click "Clip (Picture)
Object," and click Convert.
- In the Convert dialog box, click to clear the "Float over text" check
box and click OK.
NOTE: If the object was inserted using Microsoft Clip Gallery, these steps
will not work.
