Mobile Devices Folder Contains Generic H/PC or P/PC Icon (190649)

When you open the Mobile Devices folder, you may see a generic icon for
the Handheld PC (H/PC) or Palm-size PC (P/PC).
CAUSE
This issue can occur if the desktop is not refreshing properly.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, use the appropriate method listed below:
Using Windows 95/98- Right-click an empty space on the desktop.
- Click Refresh (Line-up Icons in Windows 95).
Using Windows 98 with Plus! 98- Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then
double-click Display.
- On the Effects tab, click the Use Large Icons check box to select it,
and then click Apply.
- Click to clear the Use Large Icons check box, and then click OK.
Using Windows 98 in MS-DOS Mode- Restart the computer in MS-DOS mode. To do this, click Start, click Shut
Down, click Restart In MS-DOS Mode, and then click OK.
- At the command prompt, type the following lines, pressing ENTER after
each line:
cd\windows
deltree shelli~1
Y
exit
