SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to copy a file into a folder, the file may be copied into the currently open folder instead of the folder you selected.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur because Windows CE does not support the pasting of files into a folder icon.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, open the folder in which you want to paste the file before you paste it. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Tap the file you want to copy.
  2. Press CTRL+C.
  3. Double-tap to open the folder in which you want to paste the file.
  4. Press CTRL+V.
