OLEXP: OE Newsreader: Unable to Insert Hyperlink (190298)

When you post a new message, reply to, or forward messages in newsgroups in
the Outlook Express Newsreader, you are unable to insert a hyperlink using
Insert on the Hyperlink menu.
CAUSE
The default news-sending format is plain text, which does not support
hyperlinks.
RESOLUTION
To change the sending format, follow these steps:
- On the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the Send tab.
- In the News Sending Format section, click to select HTML, and click OK.
NOTE: You will now be able to insert a hyperlink in a new News message, but
not when you either reply or forward mail.
