PRJ98: Timephased Costs Assigned at Start of Assignment (188836)

In Microsoft Project 98, when you add a cost to a completed resource
assignment, the cost is applied to the beginning of the timephased values
for the assignment, ignoring the cost accrual type for the resource.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs when a cost or actual cost is assigned to a resource
assignment for a task that is 100 percent complete.
RESOLUTION
To correct this problem, install Microsoft Project 98 for Windows, Service
Release 1 (SR-1).
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Project 98 for Windows, ServiceRelease 1 (SR-1).
