PRJ98: Missing Notes When Printing or Print Previewing a View (188800)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Project 98, when you print or print preview a view that includes task or resource notes, some of the notes may not show completely.

CAUSE

This behavior may occur when task or resource notes are printed with a view. The last line of a note may not appear in print preview or when printed.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, use either of the following methods.

  • Add a carriage return at the bottom of your notes by pressing ENTER.

  • Add a carriage return at the bottom of any note that is cut off by pressing ENTER.

    NOTE: To edit notes on a task or resource, follow these steps:

    1. Select the task or resource you want to edit.
    2. On the Project menu, click Task Notes or Resource Notes.
    3. Type or edit the notes.
    4. Click OK.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
