PRJ98: Missing Header, Footer or Legend When Print to a Plotter (188784)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Project 98, when you print or print preview a project on large paper sizes, the header, footer and legend may not be printed.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs when all of the following conditions are true:

  • You print a project on a Hewlett Packard (HP) DesignJet plotter using version 3.1 of the plotter driver.
  • You reformat the header, footer or legend text.
  • You have any of the following printer configurations:

NOTE: This behavior does not occur in Microsoft Windows NT version 4.0.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, increase the scaling percentage. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. On the File menu, click Page Setup, and then click the Page tab.
  2. Change the Adjust To scaling percentage to a higher number.
  3. Click Print Preview.
Repeat these steps until the header, footer, and/or legend is displayed.
