After you upgrade to Windows 98, the Alps DC544 CD-ROM changer may appear
as four individual CD-ROM drives in My Computer or Windows Explorer.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur because the Alpstray.exe program does not work
correctly in Windows 98.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, use the Alps DC544 CD-ROM changer as if it is 4
different CD-ROM drives.
MORE INFORMATION
In Microsoft Windows 95, this CD-ROM changer could be configured by using
the Alpstray.exe program. Even though this program does not work
correctly, the functionality of the CD-ROM changer is not affected. The
third-party product discussed in this article is manufactured by a vendor
