OL98: Some Font Attributes Are Not Retained in Stationery (188677)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Outlook 98, when you select "Always use my fonts" in Stationery and specify strikeout and underline font effects, or italic, bold, or bold italic font styles, the font used does not retain your settings.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Outlook 98.

MORE INFORMATION

The strikeout and underline font effects are not used in any of the stationeries that ship with Outlook.

The italic and bold italic font styles are not used in any of the stationeries that ship with Outlook.

The bold font style is retained by Baby News and Fun Bus only. The bold font style is ignored by the other stationeries that ship with Outlook.
