The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft PowerPoint 98 Macintosh Edition
This article was previously published under Q188620 SYMPTOMS
If you reduce a QuickTime movie to a very small size, the movie controller
(the toolbar at the bottom of the movie) will not show.
CAUSE
The size of the controller is determined by the width of the movie window. If
the movie window is so small that no part of the controller is recognizable, it
will not be displayed. For the controller toolbar to be displayed, the movie
window must be big enough to show some recognizable part of it.
You may want to reduce QuickTime movies to a very small size in order
to use only their sounds in the presentation.
RESOLUTION
If the QuickTime movie window is large enough, you can display the controller
toolbar by using one of the following methods:
- Click the Movie button in the lower-left corner of the movie window.
-or-
- Click the Show Controller button on the Movie toolbar.
