GW: Card Shows as a French but Creates as a Side Fold Card (188421)

SYMPTOMS

Some card templates that are listed as French fold cards are actually side fold.

This may also apply to side folds being created as French folds.

CAUSE

The wording and previews for some templates are incorrect.

WORKAROUND

All of the components of the cards are in the Clipart gallery. The cards can be recreated from a blank French fold template.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem with some of the templates in Microsoft Greetings Workshop version 1.0 and 2.0.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior

  1. Click on Cards.
  2. Select Sympathy.
  3. Choose "Loss of Loved One."
  4. Choose either card 5 or 6.
Both cards 5 and 6 are French fold although the screen shows them as side fold. Both create and print as side fold cards.
