CD-ROM Drive May Be Unavailable After Resuming from Standby Mode (188203)

After you resume your Toshiba Protege 300-series computer from Standby
mode, you may be unable to gain access to your integrated drive
electronics (IDE) CD-ROM drive, and Device Manager may display "Code 12"
for your CD-ROM drive.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you resume your computer from Standby mode
twice in the same session.
RESOLUTION
To work around this behavior, restart your computer.
