Banyan VINES 16-Bit Network Client Replaces the Ver.dll File (188114)

After you install the Banyan VINES 16-bit network client, you may receive
error messages that reference any of the following files: Powrprof.dll,
Version.dll, or Mprex.exe. You may also experience the following symptoms:
- You cannot view Display properties.
- You cannot view the Network icon in Control Panel.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because installing the 16-bit VINES client can cause
the Windows 98 version of the Ver.dll file to be overwritten.
RESOLUTION
To prevent this problem from occurring, click No during the installation
of the 16-bit VINES client when you are prompted to replace the Ver.dll
file with an older version.
To resolve this issue after it occurs, extract a new copy of the Ver.dll
file from your Windows 98 CD-ROM to the Windows\System folder and then
