When you click Log Off <Username> in Microsoft Outlook Express, all
programs quit and Windows restarts.
STATUS
This behavior is by design.
MORE INFORMATION
In Outlook Express, you can click Log Off <Username> on the File menu,
where <Username> is the user currently logged on to the computer. If Multi-
user Settings or User Profiles are enabled, you are prompted, "Are you sure
you want to log off?" if you click Yes, the Enter Password dialog box
appears. In the Select User Name box, a user can click their username, type
their password in the Password box, and then click OK. All programs quit
and Windows restarts. If User Profiles is not enabled, the Multi-user
Settings wizard starts, and when you finish you are prompted "Are you sure
you want to log off?".
Multiple users can access multiple e-mail accounts with Outlook Express on
one computer when User Profiles are enabled. When User Profiles are
enabled, Windows must be restarted in order for a new user to log in.
