Computer Hangs with 13 Minutes of Windows 98 Setup Remaining (188109)

While you are installing Windows 98, your computer may stop responding
(hang) with 13 minutes of Setup remaining.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you have an AST Ascentia M-series computer that
is suspended and then resumed during Windows 98 Setup.
RESOLUTION
To work around this behavior, restart your computer, run Setup again, and
then choose Smart Recovery when you are prompted. Do not suspend your
computer until Windows 98 Setup is completed.
To resolve this behavior, contact AST Technical Support to inquire about
the availability of an updated BIOS.
