SYMPTOMS

After you upgrade from Microsoft Windows 95 to Windows 98, your Aztech Labs AT3500 (PnP) Data+Fax+Voice modem may appear as a Sound III 336SP modem.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur because the Aztech Labs AT3500 (PnP) Data+Fax+Voice modem and the Sound III 336SP modem are the same modem with a different name. The manufacturer changed the name of this modem, but did not change the modem itself.

MORE INFORMATION

This behavior does not affect the performance or functionality of the modem.
