SMS: Unable to Inventory Software with Year 2000 (188061)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Systems Management Server 1.2
This article was previously published under Q188061 SYMPTOMS
When you try to inventory software, you are unable to query files with a
file date of year 2000. The Systems Management Server Administrator program
allows you to select a date in the year 2000 in the File Date dialog box,
but after clicking OK, the DATE property is not recorded.
For this problem to occur, the file date must have a value between 1/1/00
and 12/31/00. Requesting a file with a date value outside that range works
correctly.
