OL97: Windows Messaging and Microsoft Fax with Windows 98 (187980)

If you install Microsoft Outlook 97 on Microsoft Windows 98, you may not
have Microsoft Mail or Microsoft Fax as available services in Outlook. In
addition, other MAPI services such as Internet Mail and the Microsoft
Network may not work.
Windows Messaging (previously known as Exchange Client) and Microsoft Fax
(previously known as At Work Fax) are no longer available as installation
options with Windows 98.
Run the Windows Messaging (Wms.exe) installer and the Microsoft Fax
(Awfax.exe) installer, from the Message folder on your Windows 98 compact
disc.
